The Labyrinth

It is a "Stationary Pilgrimage"—a geometric tool for Entrainment that leads the traveler to their own Locus of Control at the center.
Unlike a maze, a Labyrinth has no dead ends and no traps. It is a Unicursal path, meaning there is only one way in and one way out.

The Geometry of the Spiral: The Labyrinth is essentially a "folded" circle. It uses the principle of the Spiral to move you toward the center while constantly changing your direction. This "winding" forces the brain to shift from linear, logical thinking to a more rhythmic, intuitive Flow State.

The Centripetal Force: As you move toward the center, you are symbolically moving away from the Cacophony of the outside world and toward the Drone of the "Internal Self."

The "Twelve-Step" Octave: Many classical labyrinths (like the one at Chartres Cathedral) are built using the Law of Octaves and the Golden Ratio, ensuring that the physical walk is a "Harmonic" experience.
Researcher Note:
Purgation (The Walk In): This is the Solve phase. As you walk toward the center, you "release" or dissolve the attachments, distractions, and the heavy Persona of your daily life.
